PHOENIX PERFORMING ARTS CENTRE

Phoenix is in danger of closing its doors for good. Unless we can reach our goal of $5,000 we will be locking the doors. Do to building maintainance, utilities, royalties and just the whole cost of a production we have found ourselves financially unable to continue. We charge very little to take part in our productions and our tickets prices are the cheapest in the area, and we would like to keep it that way for every child to be able to participate and families can enjoy a night of theatre without paying a small fortune. Our productions are top quality and have been compared to broadway productions. Phoenix is also one of the only two companies that will work with young performers 4 to 6 yrs of age, giving them a place to be on stage. With your help we can rise again, apply for grants and secure the future of Phoenix PAC. We are in the process of securing our 501c3 to help us with this goal, but until all of this takes place we need your help to keep going. This will be a one time donation and we can set ourselves the goals for our future. Please consider a small or large donation. Every bit counts. We have over 1,000 friends on FB and email and if everyone just donated a little we would reach our goal. Please go to the link below and help Phoenix rise again!

ADDAMS FAMILY 1ST PREMIER 2014
We are going to be a non profit community theatre, who mentors kids, young adults and adults in the arts. We hold auditions for all our shows and all roles are available at the time of auditions. Our kids and young adult shows are not workshops, there is no registration and no guarantee you will be cast, all shows are cast by auditions. If cast in a show we do ask for a small production fee to help defray the cost of the production and scholarships are available for some productions. We welcome any local individuals with their works of Original plays and one acts, or individual directors to just come and create in our space. We also offer a variety of classes including dance classes specializing in Musical Theatre at "Dimensions In Dance at Phoenix",( under the direction of Lee LaChette), and Voice lessons ( under the direction of Jenn Johnson) for adults and kids.We have an ongoing join anytime Musical Theatre Acting Class for all ages. If you are a teacher looking for space please call us. We will strive to give the community the most creative theatre experience at an affordable price. We would like to thank you all for your continued support of our Centre. Our young performers take pride in giving back to the community. In 2012, we raised the most money with our production of RENT for the Red Cross HIV/AIDS Awareness and Education Program, We participated in the Anti Bullying Event in our area, our kids walked for the Jolee Boarder Foundation for childhood cancer, hosted the elderly in our theatre for refreshments, caroling and a show, performed at a nursing home in our area and raised money for Broadway Cares.
